External Quality Assessment

Our specialists can work with your in-house teams to ensure their processes and practices conform to the Global Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) International Professional Practice Framework (IPPF).

An EQA is a review of the processes and practices within the internal audit function and can vary in scope from technical assessment against the EQA to a full effectiveness review.

We will:

• Assess how well you conform to the IIA IPPF as well as to other standards, such as the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards (PSIAS) and the IIA Financial Services Code;

• Evaluate your performance against the established Charter and expectations of Board; and identify areas of improvement, to maximise the value of your internal audit investment.
